Arrival to the Kenya’s capital where you shall be meet by Epic Luxury Safari´s guides & crew to set off on your journey. The flight should land between 07.00/09.00am.

The meeting point will be after going through immigration and collecting our luggage. Making our way through endless Rift’s Valley we shall arrive to the Naivasha’s Lake shores, where an enchanted forest of yellow acacias awaits us to spend this special night by the lake shores.

Our free day will be spent in this converted-farm-hotel, it will give us the option of walking about or to go for an unforgettable safari’s horseback ride. We strongly recommend this incomparable & unmatched and exceptional experience where you shall be surrounded by nature and wildlife The unrivalled game viewing that the horse’s ride will give you cannot be explained in words as you are galloping between zebras & giraffes.

In the morning will shall enjoy a boat ride in Lake Naivasha and strait. After we shall make our way to Maasai’s territory filled with nomadic shepherd tribes. The Maasai’s have roamed these lands since ancestrals.

A whole day in Maasai’s Mara National Reserve, in our 4X4 truck available only on our Maasai´s Mara safaris. After this wonderful experience, we go onto the country’s nature crown jewel, the majestic Maasai´s Mara national reserve. The hills manicured by its grasslands, the great abundance of its wilderness diversity will let you get lost in the immensity of its plains to find lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants… If time & weather conditions allow us, we shall be granted the privilege of setting up our camp next to The Great Mara’s River shores, with its terracotta coloured waters where the hippos will be peacefully rolling in the mud unaware of our close proximity.

We shall always be kept safe by an expert team of Rangers while the hippo’s whispers will send you into a deep sleep. On the walking safari you will be escorted by rangers through the main crossing points of The Great Migration where our camp is based. This night stay is considered by thousands of travelers as the most authentic & uplifting experience to ever be lived in the greatest adventure of your life. To spend a night in The Maasai’s Mara heart surrounded by its wilderness, hearing the lion’s roar, while your listening to the fuss being made (at your feet) by the hippos, chatting by the fire and covered by a night sky brimming with stars where you could not fit a pin. In the morning as we head to the park’s exit, we shall give our farewell to grand giraffes, lots of antelopes, wildebeest, zebras… along the reserve’s main artery, following the River Mara towards the west will take us to next destination –The Lake Victoria- also known as Victoria Nyanza. Our private island is the closest place on earth to paradise. A 45 minutes journey on a traditional boat will take us to this island made of kopjes. This island rock formation creates a perfect ecosystem where plants & animals thrive. In the area you will see hyraxes, mongoose, monkeys, monitor lizards and an ornithological paradise for any enthusiast. Today we shall make our land border crossing into Tanzania where we shall get our visas and go through the country’s formalities.

In the morning after breakfast we go on our way to Musoma, with a boat ride around the island to get to know native wilderness & flora that lives in its immense granite formations known as “kopjes”.

You will see lizards, otters, baboons, cormorants … all thrown together with fisherman doing the daily fishing chores. Once in Musoma we shall be remarkably close to Serengeti NP entrance in Tanzania, a natural extension of the Maasai’s Mara National Reserve in Kenia.

There are no land borders between these two country’s reserves, which are obviously ignored by its animals always in search of new & fresh grasslands: each year between July & October a million and a half wildebeest will pass through, 250.000 zebras & half of a million gazelles, not far behind follow by lions & hyenas rejoicing before such a feast. These are the great & famous Migrations which will render one the biggest and most ruthless & chilling shows in nature. The Serengeti will welcome us, two nights in our Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp, in Seronera’s heart lies the biggest gathering of lions in the world, straight into the great migration’s path..

Day two in Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp, in the Seronera’s heart , Serengeti’s NP. Those either in a romantic or explorer mood will have option of doing hot air balloon safari at the break of dawn flying quietly over the herds at sun’s first rays before landing in front of a sumptuous champagne breakfast over the savannah in the old colonial British “Out of Africa” style.

The best chance you will ever have of witnessing the hunt in action will be at dawn when the savannah awakens, and the wildlife is still active. This time will be exclusively dedicated to meet “the big five” which are: lions, buffalos, elephants, rhinos and leopards. This are undoubtedly the main stars of the show but, due to the vast and extensive territory , we shall also be able to see numerous herds & gatherings of herbivores, always on high alert expecting an imminent attack by cheetah’s or a lion’s pride.

Our last day in the Serengeti’s NP will be spend tracking the wildlife, which for sure we must have heard the night before, inspecting in detail the kopjes, island rock formations and the favourite resting place of lions, leopards y cheetahs, while watching it all from the highest point.

Just before leaving, behind the endless plains, we shall come across again with masai shepherds and their herds and colourful “shuka” or masai’s blankets, grazing by Olduvai’s Gorge, one of humanity’s cradles, where fossils & human remains and artefacts of the first men to walk this earth have been found. We are in Norongoro CA. We shall visit a Maasai Village or “BOMA” to experience first-hand the traditional old & ancient ways of living in Ngorongoro, which will be this evenings destination..

At first sunlight we will make our way down, in 4×4 vehicles, towards the interior Ngorongoro’s Crater for our game’s drive. No other reserve will be able to offer you this grandiose and spectacular show like Ngorongoro’s Crater. The volcanic caldera is 600m deep & 20km in diameter which holds the biggest permanent concentration of wildlife in Africa.

With breath-taking views and inhabited by more than 40.000 masai’s shepherds ruled by the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro’s nine volcanos which erupted more than 4millions years ago. The Ol Doinyo Lengai, is the only volcano currently active- god’s mountain for the Maasai. Ngorongoro’s Crater houses within thousands of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, gazelles, lions, rhinos… opposite to Serengeti where practically none of the above ever migrate to due to the constant presents of water in the region which ensures their sustenance.  After the experience inside caldera’s known as “the Eden’s volcano” we shall make our way to the loving & warm village of Mto wa Mbu which will take us to Lake Manyara NP.

At the break of dawn, for the early risers, we have in store a bike ride ready for those who dare (optional of course)! You shall be able to ride through banana trees, yellow acacia forest and watching bit by bit how Lake Manyara’s community comes back to life as you wave the kids on their way to school. After a great breakfast we shall make our way to the airport to catch a plane which will take us to the Island of the spices, Zanzibar.
